Your Role:

  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events including annual store manager conferences, corporate staff events such as but not limited to holiday parties and golf tournament.;
  • Independently manage event related tasks, coordinating invitations, third party suppliers, and local permits as required;
  • Promotional planning and support for NWC banners as directed by Marketing managers; including grand openings, in-store promotions, and store activations;
  • Support the facilitation of Weekly Information Meeting; edit and prepare documents as required;
  • Support the production and distribution of informational video resources to stores. Work with content experts to determine relevant projects, research content and assist with production when needed;
  • Support Promotional Pricing team as required. Includes data entry, reporting, and management of rebates as required;
  • Track and facilitate requests for translation (French & Indigenous language); and
  • Additional special projects as determined by Director/Marketing Manager.

Job Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing or communications;
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of digital video production and desktop publishing (e.g. Adobe Acrobat, FrameMaker, Photoshop);
  • Proficient with Microsoft office software suite;
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication;
  • Ability to communicate in a variety of media;
  • Superior time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to multi-task through various different tasks;
  • Ability to work independently and within a team;
  • Clear and concise decision making; and
  • Ability to travel approximately 15 – 25 days a year.
